Certified Electric, Inc. (CEI) is a homegrown, hometown success story.

CEI was incorporated in 1971 by Emory and Margaret Young, who both remain quite active in the business. Certified Electric, Inc. has been a Carrier Dealer since 1976, and is now a Factory Authorized Dealer. Certified Electric, Inc.'s owners and officers grew up in Brunswick, went to local schools and are currently very involved with the local Chamber of Commerce, numerous Civic Clubs, the Conditioned Air Association of Georgia, and the Home Builders Association.

Certified Electric, Inc. has three employees with over thirty years of service, nine employees with over twenty years of service, six employees with over ten years of service, and eleven employees with over five years of service. The Young’s have two sons, one daughter-in-law and one grandson that are currently employed with the company. Certified Electric is truly a family business.
